Project Review System
PReS is a solution designed for project management evaluation inside an organization, with an emphasis on evolution tracking against the initial objectives and established milestones, and early issue detection. The assessment results can be used as a valuable input during a project lifecycle, permitting estimation of possible tendencies within the project evolution, performance monitoring, and work prioritization.
The system is implemented using Microsoft .NET platform and the SQL Server. The product has been Microsoft certified for Windows 2003 Server, according to Microsoft Windows 2003 Server demands, Web Services and NET Framework, which certifies adequate utilization of Microsoft technology by Ropardo.
Keywords: controlling work execution, process management, benchmarking, business process improvement.
SEA is a multi-agent system offering new functions to artificial intelligence, so that it improves database related operations in a company internal and external business environment. It aims at providing the web browser new intelligence characteristics by using Distributed Information Retrieval Agents for data mining and Personal Assistant Agents for an efficient information display.
It enhances results browsing directly inside the programme while showing a relevancy score and automatically removing duplications. Full customization of searching results and displaying results display is being allowed.
Keywords: information retrieval, artificial intelligence, data mining, meta-search, distributed content, automated knowledge discovery and extraction, indexing.
GDSS is a collaborative platform for intuitive and interactive web-based virtual meetings, supporting delocalization and decentralization of a companys business processes. The solution supports few relevant meeting steps (planning, idea generation, convergence, prioritization, documentation), resulting in a coherent decision-making system. All data is stored in a single repository, enhancing instant access, teamwork and flexibility. Information security and protection are granted.
Keywords: electronic meeting system, computer-mediated communication, computer-supported collaboration, groupware, delocalization.
ConnAct is a solution enhancing direct access to all relevant information and processes inside an organization, based on a previously specified hierarchy. It contains several modules focused on document, workgroup, project, workflow, quality, and office management. As main advantages, it is worth mentioning the efficient data storing and formatting, team working, data security, time, material resources and cost reduction.
The system is built on a collaborative platform, offering extended possibilities for applications and databases management, as well as an integrated perspective on the organization memory.
Keywords: business intelligence, information management, groupware, collaborative work, business process optimization, knowledge transfer, corporate memory.
iManagement addresses organizational needs within various business sectors, and it aims at playing a key roll in the optimization of internal processes. One of its main competitive advantages consists in the possibility to manage multiple projects at the same time, using the same human resources, fixed deadlines and budgets. Moreover, two major actors are being considered: first, the organisation itself, together with its own internal activities; second, the customer, who is given the opportunity to check the progress during the entire project lifecycle.
The main functionalities focus on: project planning (work package and task levels, resource allocation and control, advanced task management); tracking and monitoring (daily task monitoring, worked time approval, reports generation); issue highlighting (request for change, bug fixing, enhancement request etc.); work order and bill management; plans display as a tree structure and as Gantt charts; delivery management.
Keywords: PRINCE 2 methodology, work breakdown structure, integrated project management.
MPA refers to a standardized and modular production platform, structured on three levels of production resources, factory organisation, planning processes. It contains scalable production components with predefined organisational processing and resource characteristics; it also includes a validated methodology stating how to design modularised production sites and evaluate them in terms of standardisation, specialisation, flexibility and adaptability, co-ordinate production structures and processes to provide an approved migration from plant architecture today to modular plant architecture tomorrow.
Key words: intelligent production systems, production planning and optimization.
