The iManagement solution is built as a web application, on an IE 6.0. browser. The Web interface is familiar and easy to use due to Internet use. This way, the information can be accessed on the Internet or Intranet (using a secured HTTP connection), stocked on a single SQL server.

 Characteristics:

• The solution runs on .NET platform, uses the newest technologies, for instance Web services
• You can use MS SQL or another SQL server (Oracle, PosgreSQL etc.) for stocking
• The solution may run on Windows 2003 - server Web (reduced costs, under 600 USD) or on a Linux server, using the Mono package (which is free)
• Users and their roles can be defined from the web interface or imported from iDocument application
• All users must use IE 6.0 or a similar browser similar in order to access iManagement

 Relation with iDocument

An important aspect is working on a collaborative platform for which iManagement has a special connector allowing relations of knowledge and collaborative work with reports and budgets. This way, links between documents and projects from iDocument can be easily created on iManagement interface (you are going to use Lotus Notes, the software on which iDocument is based). Each task that is created in iManagement appears in iDocument and the development of the project can be controlled in a simple manner, every piece of information being connected.

Relation with other ERP solutions

Projects are resource-consuming and resources are reflected in the financial balance of the company. That is why each operation and project must be transferred in the financial system. This action may be realized by means of ERP connectors which allow relations between the financial system and iManagement. 

If your organization already uses an ERP system (financial management) which corresponds to demands, the information will be easily transferred by means of this connector. On the other hand, if you need an upper-class system, iManagement best functions together with iFinance, our ERP system; the two systems can be delivered together or separately.
